Since the last discovery, finding out that the Pontianak might have been displaced by Singapore's urban development, I have came across a personal encounter that might have answered my previous question. Where has the Pontianak moved to and has it become even more vengeful than usual?
This confession by Fattah, a muslim convert that have been haunted by the Pontianak in his home is evidence that the Pontianak has indeed been relocated to neighbourhood trees. Thus, having a wider range of people that she's able to haunt.
It is interesting to know that these beings attach themselves to trees. Does this mean that the trees next to our block might host a Pontianak too?
